Use this property page to change extended options that effect the generation of the index file.
- Create binary index (Microsoft Help 1.0 only)
- Select this option to create a binary index file. A binary index file is recommended for big indexes. It also allows you to merge indexes and to use keyword links.
- Some style options are not available if a binary index file is generated.
- Default Frame (Microsoft Help 1.0 only)
- Specifies the default frame for the topic files.
- Font
- Specifies the default font used in the index pane of the help viewer.
- Size
- Specifies the default font size used in the index pane of the help viewer.
- Title (Microsoft Help 2.0 only)
- Specifies the title of the index.
- Prefix Characters (Microsoft Help 2.0 only)
- Specifies a string of characters to be ignored in keyword sorts when occurring at the head of the keyword.
- Merge Index (Microsoft Help 2.0 only)
- Select this option to indicate that the index can be merged at compile time. This applies only to sorted and compiled indexes.
- Sort Index (Microsoft Help 2.0 only)
- Select this option to automatically sort the index.
- Visible Index (Microsoft Help 2.0 only)
- Select this option to indicate that the index is visible to the user.
