The output type determines the type of help file that is generated, such as HTML Help 1.x or Web Browser Help.

Set the output type

1. On the Help Producer toolbar, click Configure Help Project .
2. In the tree view, select the category Project, and select the tab General.
3. From the box Help System and Theme, select the output type you would like to use. Some output types have a theme associated with it, which provides a predefined visual appearance. For details on available output types, see the topic Output Types.
