Help Producer contains a built-in system checker that performs an exhaustive check of the system configuration. Messages are categorized into Informational, Warning, and Error messages. Messages flagged as warnings and errors should be resolved in order to avoid potential problems.
Message types
- Information: This message is for your information only.
- Warning: A potential problem was found. Help Producer may not run correctly until the issue is resolved.
- Error: Help Producer will not run correctly until the issue is resolved.
Run the System Diagnostic Checker
- On the Help Producer toolbar, click Configure Help Project .
- In the tree view, select the category Project, and select the tab Options.
- Click the button Diagnose System.
- If there are any warnings or error reported, you will need to take the appropriate action to resolve the issue.
Tip If you double-click a message that contains a link to a webpage, Help Producer will open a web browser and open the page given in the URL.
