The title field specifies both the topic title and the table of contents title. The result list title is not affected.
Help Producer supports three different titles. If you do not explicitly set the title properties, Help Producer will derive a default title text from the content of the topic heading.
- The topic title (see TopicTitle Field) specifies the title of a topic. All Help Producer templates and themes use the topic title to set the HTML <TITLE> tag in a topic.
- The table of contents title (see TocTitle Field) specifies the title that appears in the topic entry of the table of contents.
- The result list title (see RlTitle Field) specifies the result list title of a topic. It is commonly used to resolve ambiguous keyword matches, which in turn pops up with a result list dialog. Usually, the result list title is more descriptive than the topic title. All Help Producer templates and themes display the result list title in the non-scrolling header, if applicable.
Format
{ \HP Title MyTitle }
Where MyTitle specifies the name of the topic title and table of contents title.
Example
{ \HP Title "My new title" }
